Owners must submit written proof that their dog(s) received the Bordatella vaccine within the last six (6) months, Distemper (commonly referred to as DHPP and consisting of Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) within the last year and Rabies within the last year or three depending on your vet. Proof of titers accepted in lieu of above vaccinations. Please allow a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours to pass between giving your pet these shots and using our services.

On admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that would potentially jeopardize other guests. All dogs will require a veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted after any illness.

The following is our pick up and drop off policy. Please read carefully as it contains very important information and we consider this YOUR promise to us:
"I am aware that Bark Avenue hours are Monday-Friday 6am to 7pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm, Sunday 12am to 5pm and is closed on all statutory holidays. If I do not arrive before closing there will be an overtime charge of $1.00 per minute. There will be a ten minute grace period eg. 7:00 - 7:10 pm (Monday-Friday). This grace period is in effect because of a possible discrepancy in different clocks or watches.
I will call Bark Avenue if I am going to be late, e.g. (after my regular scheduled pick up time). I will call as a courtesy to the staff because I understand that the scheduling of staff is centered around the time of the hours of operation. Also, as a courtesy to my animal because they begin to wait for me at a specified time and may become upset if I do not arrive on time. I am aware that I will not be charged an overtime fee if I pick up my animal past Bark Avenue's regular scheduled time, BUT before closing hours.
If I do not arrive at Bark Avenue 5mins after close, and I have not phoned Bark Avenue to explain I will be late, then I understand that Bark Avenue staff will call the numbers on my emergency pick up list located on my registration form. At this point I understand it is the Day Care policy to bed my dog down and feed him or her Bark Avenue's house brand food at my cost and the overnight fee will apply in addition to my daycare or boarding fee."
Sound fair? Good ;) Don't be late!
